World Health Organization Warns: Increase in the Number of Pediatric Hepatitis Cases

The World Health Organization (WHO) recently issued a warning following a significant increase in the incidents of pediatric liver infection (hepatitis) in a number of countries around the world, including Israel. In light of the WHO's warning, the Israeli Ministry of Health directed the country's healthcare providers to carefully monitor all relevant cases.

David Malka, an IDF veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following the Second Lebanon War, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer exactly 15 years after the battle in Lebanon. He was looking for ways to strengthen his youngest child, who also had to deal with his father’s illness.

Rambam Health Care Campus is sending help to refugees from the war in Ukraine. The donations are sent to the Haifa absorption center which then distributes the aide to the refugees. This is the second donation to leave Rambam for this important cause.
