The Periodic Examinations Institute is the core of the Center for Preventive Medicine. The institute perform comprehensive medical testing for healthy people with the purpose of detecting and providing advice regarding modifiable risk factors that may lead to disease development, particularly heart disease, stroke, and cancer, to name a few.
The institute embraces the vision of the Rambam (Moses Maimonides), who was a pioneer in the approach to preventive medicine, and after whom the hospital is named. Individuals examined at our institute have access to the top physicians at Rambam—experts in internal medicine, cardiology, sports medicine, and occupational health, and to the most advanced diagnostic and imaging equipment.
