Life-saving Surgery Performed by Rambam Doctors in Ethiopia – Despite Power Outage

A general power failure interrupted the life-saving surgery being performed in Ethiopia by a delegation of surgeons from Rambam Health Care Campus. The ventilator stopped and lights went out. The doctors’ quick thinking and mobile phone flashlights enabled successful completion of the procedure on their three-year-old patient.
