Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was welcomed by Dr. Michal Mekel, Rambam's Director General, before touring hospital departments and meeting with wounded IDF soldiers currently being treated at Rambam. The soldiers have been serving in both active and reserve duty.
"I admire you” said Netanyahu, “and I am always inspired by your spirit. I don't say that lightly—I truly mean it. You embody that spirit, and I am deeply moved by it. I know you are going through a difficult journey. It is not easy, but your resilience is extraordinary."
"I don't believe there is anywhere in the world that provides better care," he added. "In fact, I believe no other place in the world delivers this level of expertise, speed, compassion, and success. I wish each of you good health and a full recovery."
