The Joseph Fishman Oncology Center

The Joseph Fishman Oncology Center at Rambam Health Care Campus is a multi-disciplinary center for cancer treatment. It is certified by the European Society for Clinical Oncology (ESMO) as an integrated center for cancer treatment and support services, and is the only institute of its kind in Northern Israel.

The Oncology Center includes clinics for consultation and ongoing care, a radiation unit with linear accelerators, a three-dimensional planning system for optimizing radiation therapy, an IMRT system, a system for precise radiotherapy using fractionated stereotactic technique, etc., a chemotherapy outpatient center and inpatient oncology departments (radiotherapy and chemotherapy). Special radiotherapy services include intra-operative radiation therapy, high dose rate brachytherapy, total skin electron beam irradiation, and total body photon irradiation.
