Rambam Neuroradiologists Improve Stroke Patient Care

Stroke specialists at Rambam are using AI technology for early identification and diagnosis of stroke patients. The platform enables larger stroke centers to be connected to smaller hospitals in order to ensure that these patients can be treated as quickly as possible at the most suitable medical center.

Rambam Holds Successful Gala Fundraising Event in London

More than 400 people came to show their support for Rambam Health Care Campus at a gala held London last week, attending a pre-premiere of “Rocketman”, the biographical film depicting the life of world-famous musician Sir Elton John. The event was held by British Friends of Rambam Medical Centre.

The 2019 Physicians Fellowship Scholarship Ceremony, sponsored by Rambam Knowledge Center and Rambam Health Care Campus administration, took place this year for the eleventh time. The Fellowship Scholarship helps physicians to study at leading medical institutions abroad, each working in their own fields to address issues facing the world of modern medicine.

Dare to Dream at Eurovision – Helping Rambam Turn Dreams into Reality

Mass Casualty Drill Held at Rambam

Once a year drills are held at Rambam Health Care Campus together with the IDF Home Front Command, the Emergency Division of the Ministry of Health, and peer review professionals from other hospitals. Such drills are critical to ensure the hospital's preparedness when faced with a mass casualty situation. The drill held this year, on April 10, focussed on a "dirty bomb" scenario.

Hostel for Families of Children with Cancer to be Constructed Next to Rambam Hospital

A cornerstone ceremony was recently held for construction a hostel that will host pediatric cancer patients and their families coming to Rambam Health Care Campus for treatment. The hostel is the result of a collaborative effort between multiple organizations and donors.

Rambam Doctors Remove Brain Tumor that Caused Deafness vis Rare "Keyhole" Surgery

A woman underwent 12 hours of surgery to have a tumor removed from her brain. To successfully remove the tumor, which was near the woman’s auditory nerve, surgeons entered through the woman’s ear and drilled a canal to reach the tumor.
