The School of Radiology & Imaging trains students in medical diagnostic and treatment services using sophisticated radiology equipment and advanced imaging techniques, such as: computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (US), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), angiography techniques, and invasive operations.
The three-year study program for radiology laboratory technician certification is both theoretical and practical. Students are trained in the different activities this position entails, including taking X-rays in the medical imaging and inpatient departments, assisting physicians in performing X-ray tests, operating advanced imaging equipment (MRI, CT, US, etc.), performing advanced and invasive imaging tests, administering treatment with radiation and radioactive materials for various diseases, as well as operating equipment and conducting tests using isotopes.
