The Pediatric Endocrinology Unit cares for infants, children, and adolescents suffering from hormonal diseases, growth disorders, puberty-related disorders, and obesity. The unit operates a national clinic, exclusive to the Rambam Health Care Campus for treating girls and women with Turner Syndrome, and a clinic for metabolic bone diseases.
The unit team comprises physicians specializing in endocrine diseases, residents, clinical and research fellows, and a nursing staff—all with special experience in treating children.
The unit conducts a wide range of research activities in its field, including a study of infant growth during the first years of life, a study of young children's growth from age 2 on, and a study on hormonal treatments for Turner's Syndrome.
