Professor Yuval Dor of the Hebrew University Medical School for his research "Project FREEDOME: analysis of cell death in specific human tissues using the methylome of cell free, circulating DNA."

2015 Awardees

Professor Ido Amit, Principal Investigator in the Amit Lab for Immuno-genomics, Department of Immunology at the Weizmann Institute, Rehovot, Israel, was chosen for his research project: Uncovering Principles and Mechanisms of Blood Development using Massively Parallel Single Cell RNA-seq.

Professor Yair Reisner, Henry Drake chair in Transplantation Immunology of the Department of Immunology, at the Weizmann Institute, Rehovot, Israel, was chosen for his research project: Canalicular State Embryonic Lung Cell Transplantation as a Novel Source for Lung Regeneration: The Analogy between Bone Marrow and Lung Progenitors and Their Respective Niches.

2014 Awardee

Dr. Tsvee Lapidot is a Professor in the Department of Immunology of the Weizmann Institute of Science. He was chosen for the Beutler Award for his research entitled Regulation of normal and leukemic human stem cells by oncogenic microRNAs miR-126 and miR-155.
