Rambam Health Care Campus, the largest hospital in the north, is a symbol of and a model for coexistence. This can be seen among its employees—who represent all denominations and beliefs—and among its patients, who come from all over the country and other parts of the Middle East. This coexistence has withstood the test of many such crises, with Rambam serving as a bridge that brings people and hearts together.

Woman Gives Birth at Rambam Following Endometriosis Diagnosis

A 42 year-old woman was diagnosed with endometriosis, and shortly before she was to undergo surgery at Rambam Health Care Campus to treat the condition, discovered that she was unexpectedly pregnant. She recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl by caesarean section with no complications.

Three-year-old Adir, who undergoes multiple dialysis treatments every week, recently celebrated his third birthday with a traditional haircutting ceremony, in the company of his family and the staff from Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Nephrology Institute at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Three Rambam Women Receive National Recognition for their Contributions to the Israeli Hospital System

Sara Tzafrir, Limor Aizenbud, and Hagar Baruch made the Israeli Ministry of Health’s List of 30 Leading Influential Women for 2021 in the “Government Hospitals” Division. Sara Tzafrir was also named as “Outstanding Chief Information Officer” for 2020 by “People and Computers”.
