Seminars and Fellowships


Short seminars are held for delegations from all over the world. The subjects of the lectures are decided upon according to the interests and needs of each delegation. They include "Trauma Systems," "Mass Casualty Preparedness," and tours around the hospital, especially the emergency facilities such as the new state of art Emergency Trauma Department's Shock Room, Mass Casualty Preparedness sites around the hospital, and the scale model of the overview of the current construction momentum.

History of Seminars

Overall 81 seminars have been held to date. Participants are from 27 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Palestinian Authority, Singapore, Sri-Lanka, Swedish, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.


Physicians and nurses have participated in short- and long-term fellowships in the fields of Trauma and Preparedness for Mass Casualty Situations.

Overall 20 physicians and nurses have completed a short- or long-term fellowship.
