Professor Doron Aronson is a cardiologist who graduated from the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
He completed postgraduate clinical and research training in cardiology and cell biology at the Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.
Professor Aronson is currently Director of the Inpatient Cardiology Unit at Rambam. His research interests include the role of inflammation in atherosclerosis and acute coronary syndromes, heart failure and cardiovascular complications of diabetes, areas in which he and his colleagues have made a number of internationally recognized contributions.
