Rambam Health Care Campus (Rambam), in collaboration with ynet and Calcalist, recently hosted the Rambam–Medicine of Tomorrow conference, where medical innovation and artificial intelligence took center stage.
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the first event of the annual Rambam Summit took place in the recently opened Helmsley Health Discovery Tower, bringing together technology leaders, academics, entrepreneurs, physicians, and scientists to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of medicine.
“The future of medicine is being built today, at the intersection of medical excellence, groundbreaking research, and new technologies. At the Rambam Tomorrow conference, we discussed how needs identified at the bedside can lead to solutions that influence medicine and patient care,” says Dr. Michal Mekel, Rambam’s Director General. “Our aim is to encourage dialogue and connections among medical professionals, scientists, and entrepreneurs to advance solutions that improve the quality of care, enable personalized medicine, and shape tomorrow’s health care system. At Rambam, innovation is more than a vision for the future; it is an integral part of our daily work.”
The conference featured interviews with leading experts in industry and health care s including Dr. Michal Mekel, Michael Kagan, Chief Technology Officer of NVIDIA; Maor Shlomo, founder of the Base44 platform and Managing Partner at Second Light, each sharing their perspective on the future of medicine.
