Technological Leap for Stroke Patients: First in Israel
Rambam Health Care Campus recently became the first in Israel to install the Siemens ARTIS Q with Pure Biplane Angio-Suite. The device is used for cardiology, interventional radiology, and image-guided surgery. Installed in the hospital's Angiography Unit, the device is a technological leap forward in terms of the ability to care for stroke patients.
It exposes patients to a markedly reduced dose of radiation, when compared to older systems, while significantly improving image quality and providing advanced 3D imaging tools for the Neuro-Intervention staff exposes patients to a markedly less dose of radiation while significantly improving image quality and providing advanced 3D imaging tools for the Neuro-Intervention staff.
