Rambam Medical Team to Serve 20th Maccabiah Participants

Rambam Health Care Campus has been selected to be the sole medical services provider for thousands of Maccabiah participants from July 4-18. In that role, Rambam will be solely responsible for all medical issues for the 4,000+ young athletes competing in the north of Israel. Rambam’s experienced team of physicians, nurses, and sports injury experts will provide onsite medical care for all local sporting events and competitions.

Every four years, the Maccabiah brings Jewish athletes to Israel from the four corners of the world, thereby demonstrating the centrality of the State of Israel in the life of the Jewish people. Haifa was chosen to be one of the two main cities hosting the games. A sports youth village has been established in the south of Haifa just for the event.
