Depart for the Galilee and Golan Heights
cross the Jordan River and drive to Hamat Gader, the hot springs of the ancient Roman city Gadara.

Exclusive and private VIP visit to a military base located on the border, tour the base, and meet with the troops. Travel to Kfar Haruv, an Israeli kibbutz on the Golan Heights. Relish a magnificent view of Lake Kinneret, the Galilee mountains, and the city of Tiberias. Hear about the strategic importance of the geography of the Golan Heights to Israel’s security.

Enjoy a two-hour jeep tour on the western slopes of the Golan, featuring the natural beauty of the region culminating at Taufik Village, a former Syrian stronghold from where Jewish farmers tilling their fields below were repeatedly shot before the area was taken by Israeli forces in 1967. Arrive at Sussita Mountain, towering 1,150 feet above Lake Kinneret. The flat topped mountain is an archeological site and nature reserve from where we will admire the panoramic and breathtaking view.

Drive to Chateau Golan, one of the most exclusive boutique wineries in the area. Enjoy wine tasting and an interactive lunch with Professor Michael Aviram, Head of the Lipid Research Laboratory and Director of the Clinical Research Center at Rambam who will discuss “Cardioprotection of the Israeli Seven Species”

Arrive at Nachal El Al
Between its two waterfalls are orchards with fruit trees, plane trees, and mint. Appreciate the wonderful scenery from the cliff above. Journey to Mount Bental, a disused Israeli army outpost on the Golan Heights, providing stunning views of Mount Hermon, the Golan and the Syrian border. Explore Emek HaBakha (the Valley of Tears), site of a major tank battle in the Yom Kippur War, when Israel’s 160 tanks were attacked by Syria’s one thousand tanks.

Former IDF Captain Zvi “Zvika” Greengold will provide a factual recap of The Yom Kippur War.
Zvi “Zvika” Greengold is a national hero in Israel who fought during the 1973 Yom Kippur War as an Israeli IDF tank commander. He is one of only eight people who fought in the war to be awarded the Medal of Valor, the nation’s highest medal for heroism. He is the Mayor of Ofakim.

Journey to the western area of Lake Kinneret
to view the abundant green beauty and migrating birds of the spectacular Hula Valley.

For the finale of the day, a visit to Biriya Forest, the largest planted forest in the Galilee, covering an area of 7.7 square miles. The forest boasts groves, springs, an ancient synagogue, diverse flora, hiking trails, and scenic lookouts.
