On September 6, a 30-person delegation from Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (Einstein) visited Rambam to discuss the future of healthcare and hospital collaborations.

Hospital executives and physicians from Einstein in Sao Paulo, one of Brazil and Latin America’s leading medical centers, visited Rambam on Wednesday, and Rambam was honored to welcome the distinguished group for a conference titled "The Future of Healthcare."

Rambam CEO, Professor Miki Halberthal, and Professor Rafi Beyar, President of Rambam's International Friends Associations welcomed the group. Einstein president, Dr. Sidney Klajner, as well as the president of the Council of Einstein Hospital, Dr. Claudio Lottenberg, led the Brazilian visitors. The delegation was introduced to Rambam’s cutting-edge clinical and research developments from the directors of several major Rambam departments, including Cardiology, Oncology and Neurology. Collaborations with the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology were also presented.

The next day, on Thursday, September 7th, in a historical visit, senior members of the Brazilian Parliament, politicians, leaders, respected members of the Sao Paulo Jewish Federation, and delegates from the Brazilian Confederation also visited Rambam.
