The children in Rambam's Dialysis Unit in the Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital marked Rabin Memorial day with a moving activity.

The hospitalized children, both Israelis and Palestinians of different religions, worked together decorating doves. The art project was prepared in advance by Rambam's teaching staff for classes operated by the Bnei Zion, Rambam, Carmel Education Center. Each child worked according to his or her abilities.

Once the work was finished, the staff present the artwork in the framework of an exhibition entitled “I was Born to Peace," which was presented in the unit.

“Co-existence and living together are the daily reality in our hospital,” said a staff member of the Pediatric Dialysis Unit. “Together we face complicated problems, support one another and find a common language based on mutual respect and love for all people. This is the message that we send today from our activity, with the hope that it will reach as far as possible.”
