Rambam was a major sponor for the MedinIsrael 2017 conference. With over 100 exhibitions, the conference was clear proof that Israel is THE Start-up Nation, and Rambam has helped to make it so.

MedinIsrael 2017 is the short name for the 4th International Innovations, Medical Technology Devices and Healthcare IT Conference held in Tel Aviv from March 6–9, 2017. Every year, the conference attracts hundreds of representatives from healthcare organizations worldwide, as well as the Ministers of Health and the Ministers of Trade from many countries. During the conference, hundreds of Israeli companies presented new innovations, technologies, and solutions in the field of healthcare IT (information technology).
This year Rambam was one of the conference’s principal sponsors and a leading presenter, with an impressive booth that showcased Rambam innovations, as well as innovations developed in collaboration with Given Imaging, GE Medical, Novogate, Microbot Medical, and others. The booth also featured Rambam MedTech, Rambam’s technology transfer company, serving as a technological incubator and promoting the inventions and innovations of its medical staff. Rambam MedTech has partnered with IBM, Medtronic and Pitango to establish MindUp, Haifa’s new a new Digital Medicine Technological Incubator. Rambam's IT department was also a strong attraction with their new medical management app and provision of the latest regarding their collaboration on the BIG Data project. Of interest to both local and international medical professionals were the many courses and training programs for healthcare professionals offered by the Rambam Knowledge Center.
Visitor traffic at Rambam's booth was quite high, with Israel's Minister of Health Yaakov Litzman, Minister of Economics Eli Cohen, the Chinese Ambassador to Israel, Ministers of Health from Romania and Samoa, and the CEO of the Israel Export Institute all paying visits during the conference.
Professor Rafi Beyar, Rambam's Director and CEO, moderated a panel discussion on Personalized Medicine. Also representing Rambam were: Dr. Ronit Hirshberg, CEO of Rambam Health Corporation, Dr. Nadav Ben Haim and Dr. Ronia Rubinstein from Rambam MedTech, and Eyal Shterenbach, Deputy Director of Marketing.
