A new "Garden of Dreams" for sick kids opened recently—a special place where children can heal and grow!
Celebrating Life in Rambam's Ruth Rappaport Children's Hospital
This week, dozens of former and current patients of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital celebrated the opening of a new “Garden of Dreams.”
At the festive ceremony, children, youth and adults of all backgrounds and faiths, planted trees and plants in honor of the holiday of Tu’b’Shvat, but also to celebrate life, the recovery process, and to raise awareness of the importance of bone marrow donation.
Tu’B’Shvat is a Jewish holiday celebrating the renewal of nature and its bounty. At the event, the participants decorated a tree with notes on which they had inscribed their most heartfelt wishes.
