Rambam Health Care Campus is proud and honored to bestow the 2022 Rambam Award upon Mr. Alan and Mrs. Tatyana Forman in recognition of their outstanding joint philanthropic impact on education and medical research in Jewish communities near and far – ranging from the USA and the former Soviet Union to Israel; and with deepest appreciation for their commitment to the intellectual health of the children of Northern Israel and the advancement of medical research through their past and ongoing support of Rambam Health Care Campus.

Alan Forman and his loving wife and best friend Tatyana have made Long Island, New York, their home for over thirty years. Devoted partners in life, they are the proud parents of four children, Roman, Alexandra,Andrei, and Phillippe, and are blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin and Nikolina. With his bosom buddy and business partner Jonathan Sohnis, he is co-founder of Altronix Corporation in Brooklyn, NY, the recognized global leader in the design and manufcture of electronics tailored for the professional security market.

Alan’s leadership and myriad contributions to the professional security industry were recognized in 2013 by the Security Industry Association, when he received the prestigious George R. Lippert Memorial Award. Another industry accolade includes Alan’s induction into the Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame in 2008, which honors key industry figures for their lifetime achievement, dedication, and accomplishments.

Tatyana and Alan’s longstanding passion for helping others has touched numerous lives worldwide through philanthropy that champions medical research and education initiatives  from preschool to post-graduate levels. An important focus of their lives, they have passed on the family tradition of Tikun Olam to their children, with the vision to support important projects in Israel, the United States, and around the globe. Alan was awarded an Honorary Fellow and an Honorary Doctorate from the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. Mission 500, the security industry’s prestigious charity assisting families in crisis, presented Alan with its first Humanitarian Award in 2010 for his personal and corporate social responsibility contributions.
 
Tatyana and Alan are joint recipients of the Gift of Life Angel Award for their personal involvement and sponsorship of life saving heart surgeries for children worldwide. Upholding the family’s steadfast commitment to foster the development of our next generation of future leaders, the Alan & Tatyana Forman Jewish Early Learning Center was dedicated in their hometown in 2019.Alan currently serves on the board of directors for the American Friends of Rambam and is on the national board of directors for the American Technion Society. He is also a member of the Technion International Board of Governors.
Alan and Tatyana’s binding commitment to thefuture of Israel through philanthropy to the Technion, Rambam’s Children's Science Museum in the Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital, and Rambam’sr esearch laboratories of critical clinical importance (ranging from genetics, stem cell therapy and cancer to cardiovascular diseases, and more), is improving the healthcare of countless Israelis.
 
In acknowledgment of all the aforesaid, the Honorary Awards Committee has found Mr. Alan and Mrs. Tatyana Forman deserving of the 2022 Rambam Award.
