Dr. Alejandro Lokiec is a Neuro-oncologist and Attending Physician in the Neuro-oncology Unit at Rambam Health Care Campus.
Dr. Lokiec graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of La Plata University, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his internship and residency in neurosurgery at University Hospital "Jose de San Martin" Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a second residency in neurology at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Israel.
Dr. Lokiec is active in academic and clinical and basic research projects. His main research interest is in microscopic morphologic structures in neuro-oncologic tumors, and their clinical, diagnostic and treatment implications
