Dear Friends,
We are pleased and honored to invite you to attend the 2014 Rambam Summit taking place June 22-24, 2014.
This year’s summit “From Vision to Reality” will spotlight Rambam’s new West Campus and look at the promise of next generation medicine. Monday’s program will include a visit to the Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital in its peacetime configuration as an underground parking lot. A unique demo area will help you feel the safety and security this facility represents for the people of Northern Israel. You will also tour the Ruth Rappaport Children’s Hospital, which will have just started welcoming patients and their families with a new atmosphere of promise and hope for tomorrow. The prestigious Rambam Award will be presented in the evening to some very special friends and world leaders in humanity and science.

On Tuesday the 24th of June, Rambam will convene its annual Scientific Conference, a highlight of every summit. This year, our participants will include experts in healthcare and genomic and cell-based medicine. Professor Elizabeth Nabel, renown for her expertise in both these fields, will look at the future of healthcare in the 21st century, and preside over discussions with leading experts. Our own Professor Lior Gepstein will take us on a fascinating journey through the stem cell story to discover what lies ahead in the field of genomics and cell-based medicine. Exciting panel discussions will give a glimpse into the new visions for tomorrow’s reality.
