The Foundations Research Program

Inaugurated in 2016, the Foundations Research Program was established to encourage and advance clinical research by interns at Rambam. This internally funded program completes the spectrum of research opportunities for residents at Rambam by focusing on clinical research.

The Foundations Program is open to any resident who has completed or is completing their basic science studies, or is working on their specialization in medicine. A competitive program, the best research proposals are selected to receive an award that is applied to the direct expenses of the project during its first year. The possibility exists to extend the research for a second year.
