Dr. Nir Haya is Director of the Gynecology Unit at Rambam Health Care Campus.
Dr. Haya received his MD from the Ruth & Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology (2005) and specialized in obstetrics and gynecology at the Lady Davis Carmel Medical Center in Haifa. In 2015 he completed a fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery under Professor Christopher Maher of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
After returning to Israel, Dr. Haya joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Carmel Medical Center where he served as Deputy Director from 2017–2021. He joined Rambam in his current role as Director of the Gynecology Unit in 2021.
His primary clinical and research interests in surgical and conservative treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. Dr. Haya is highly skilled in a variety of conservative and surgical treatments, facilitating provision of optimal personalized care to his patients.
Dr Haya is a clinical lecturer in the Technion’s Faculty of Medicine and is responsible for training interns in Rambam’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A graduate of the Technion’s faculty development program, Dr. Haya has received the Dean’s Award from the Faculty of Medicine for his unique teaching contributions in the field of gynecology.
