Dr. Yehuda Ullmann is the acting director of the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burn Unit at Rambam Health Care Campus. He is also the founder and director of the Aesthetic Plastic Service at Rambam, and is a clinical associate professor of Plastic Surgery, in the Ruth & Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Dr. Ullman received his MD from the Technion’s Faculty of Medicine in 1981. He specializes primarily in facial, breast and abdominal aesthetic surgeries, burns, dermatologic surgery and reconstruction of pediatric congenital anomalies, such as cleft lip and palate. His research interests relate mainly to fat injection, wound healing, trauma, and laser procedures.
He has more than 120 original scientific articles basic and clinical scientific articles (including basic and clinical research) and nine chapters in books to his credit. He served as Chairman of the Israeli Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery from 2009-11. He is currently Chair of the Physician’s Union at Rambam and Vice-chair of the State Employed Physician’s Organization.
