Dr. Miry Blich is an Attending Cardiologist in the Department of Cardiology and Electrophysiology Unit, and heads both the Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic and the Women’s Heart Clinic at Rambam Health Care Campus.
Dr. Blich received her MD from the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and completed residencies in internal medicine, cardiology and electrophysiology at Rambam. Dr Blich also completed a fellowship in inherited arrhythmia syndromes from the IRCCS Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri, Pavia, Italy and a fellowship in inherited cardiomyopathies in the Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Unit, the Heart Hospital, UCL, London, UK.
In 2011, Dr. Blich founded the Inherited Arrhythmia Center at Rambam—the only center of its kind in Israel. The center includes a clinic and a laboratory for genetic analysis and research. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Blich is involved in clinical and basis research. She has received several prizes, including the 2012 Neufeld Award for original research from the Israel Heart Society and has authored several scientific publications. Her main research interest is in diagnosis and management of inherited arrhythmia, focusing on understanding the molecular and genetic mechanisms of arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death, as well as gender medicine in cardiology.
