Dr. Ariel Zisman is a senior physician in the neuro-urology and sexual dysfunction unit at Rambam Health Care Campus. He received his M.D. from the Semmelweis University Faculty of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary (2013). Dr. Zisman completed a residency in urology at Rambam (2021), which included comprehensive surgical training in all aspects of modern urology.
Dr. Zisman completed a clinical fellowship in reconstructive urology and men's health at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA in 2022, where he was trained to treat erectile dysfunction, including penile prosthesis surgery, Peyronie's disease, urethral stricture disease, stress urinary incontinence in men and other men's health problems such as benign prostate hypertrophy.
After completing his fellowship. Dr. Zisman returned to Israel and joined the Neuro-Urology Unit of Rambam’s Department of Urology – one of Israel’s leading centers for treating urinary disorders and sexual dysfunction in men.
An accomplished author, Dr. Zisman has published several peer reviewed articles on reconstructive urology and urethral stricture disease, written a chapter on penile implants in a book on urology, and lectured at several international professional conferences. He has received two research awards from the Israeli Urological Association.
Dr. Zisman's main area of interest is restoring the quality of life for patients recovering from prostate cancer or suffering from urinary incontinence and/or sexual dysfunction.
