Dr. Shadie Badaan is an Attending Physician in the Department of Urology at Rambam Health Care Campus.
Dr. Badaan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2001, and in 2010 he completed his residency in urology at Rambam. In 2009, he trained as a research fellow in robotic urology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
Since 2010 Dr. Badaan has served as an Attending Physician in the Department of Urology at Rambam, and is involved in teaching medical, nursing and radiology students from the Technion’s Rappaport Faculty of Medicine.
His fields of interest are urological trauma, general urology, endourology and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Dr. Badaan has published numerous articles and has written a book chapter on robotic urology. He is a member of the Israeli and European Urological Societies.
Dr. Badaan will begin clinical training in urological trauma and urethral reconstruction at the Scott Department of Urology of, Baylor College of Medicine in the US in 2016.
