Department of Anesthesiology

Dr. Alexander Rivlin is an Attending Physician in the Department of Anesthesiology at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Dr. Rivlin received his Medical Diploma from Omsk Academy of Medicine, Omsk, Russia in 1986. From 1998-9 he served as an attending anesthesiologist and ICU and infectious diseases physician at Tera Central Hospital in Tera, Russia. He later became the Chief of ICU and infectious diseases during 2001-2. Dr. Rivlin completed his internship and continued with a residency in anesthesiology, where he passsed board certification exams in 2011. Since then, he has served as a senior anesthesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesiology at Rambam.

Dr. Rivlin’s special interests include robotic surgery, trauma, and complicated cases in anesthesia. He participates in scientific studies and gives lectures in medical conferences.
