Dr. Daniel Braunold is a pediatric anesthetist in the Department of Anesthesiology at Rambam Health Care Campus. He received his MD from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, UK (2008). After making Aliyah in 2010, he completed a residency in anesthesia at Rambam.
After returning to London in 2019, Dr. Braunold completed two one-year fellowships, one in pediatric trauma at the Royal London Hospital and the second for anesthesia in complex high-risk children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The latter fellowship covered multiple specialties including neonatology, cardiology, neurology, and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Braunold is a keen educator and has given courses in London on pediatric trauma and emergency situations at simulation centers, and has also run regional courses for physicians on pediatric anesthesia and trauma.
His activities at Rambam include serving as a surgical pediatric anesthetist and working on the streamlining of the pediatric sedation service in the Ruth Rappaport Children's Hospital.
