Dr. Aharon Schif is an Attending Physician in the Pediatric Neurology Unit and Epilepsy Service at Ruth Rappaport Children's Hospital, Rambam Health Care Campus. He also heads the Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder Clinic and serves as Coordinator of the Vagal Nerve Stimulation Treatment for Intractable Epilepsy Service.
Dr. Schif graduated from the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and completed his residency in pediatric medicine at the Western Galilee Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pediatric neurology in the Pediatric Neurology Unit at Rambam.
Dr. Schif is a clinical instructor at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, where he was awarded for excellence in teaching. His main areas of interest are: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, epilepsy, treatment of tics and headaches and other neurological illnesses.
Dr. Schif has published several articles in Israeli and international medical journals. His main research interests are: psychogenic manifestation in neurology, the complementary value of sleep deprived EEG in the diagnosis of epilepsy, deafness representing an epileptic phenomenon and more. He is a member of the Israeli Medical Association, the Israeli Pediatric Association, the Israeli Pediatric Neurology and Child Development Association and the Israel League against Epilepsy.
