Dr. Idit Pasternak is the director of the Pediatric Emergency Department of the Rambam Health Care Campus.
Dr. Pasternak graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, and completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at the Carmel Medical Center in Haifa. After completing her training, she continued her medical education with fellowship in the pediatric emergency department in Rambam medical center. Since 2023 Dr. Pasternak is the director of the department.
Dr. Pasternak is the director of the Rambam pediatric emergency medicine school, which is a framework to dozens of resuscitation and sedation courses for medical and nursing teams from all over northern Israel.
Her activities include pediatric and emergency medicine, medical education, simulations and trauma.
Dr. Pasternak hes a special interest and activities for collaboration with community pediatric doctors, in order to improve the continuity and the quality of the treatment of the pediatric community.
