Department of Orthodontic and Craniofacial Anomalies

Dr. Emanuela Krausz is an Attending Orthodontist in the Orthodontics and Craniofacial Anomalies Department of Oral and Dental Medicine at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Dr. Krausz graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Hebrew University and Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem in 2000, and completed a Master’s degree in oral microbiology at that same institution in 2001. She served as a dental surgeon in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and as a dental flight commander in the School of Technical Professions of the Israeli Air Force. In 2015 Dr. Krausz completed an orthodontic residency at Rambam, from which time she is a specialist in orthodontics.

Dr. Krausz’s research interests include: orthodontic treatment of syndromatic patients under deep intravenous sedation, orthodontic treatment in periodontal patients, comprehensive and adjunctive orthodontic treatment in medically compromised patients, the rationale behind orthodontic devices such as tongue guards and lingual retainers, and preference of profiles of different gender by orthodontists, lay people and students.

Dr. Krausz is a member of the Israeli Orthodontic Society and the Israeli Dental Association.
