Dr. Rima Geller is an Attending Physician and Pain Specialist in the Institute of Pain Medicine, and an Anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesiology at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Dr. Geller graduated with distinction from the Institute of Medicine, Baku, USSR, and completed her medical internship at the Oncologic Research Center, Baku and a residency in anesthesiology at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Tzrifin, Israel. Dr. Geller is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. In addition, Dr. Geller has completed fellowships in invasive pain management and regional anesthesia.

Dr. Geller performs several kinds of invasive procedures under US, CT- and X-ray guidance: different nerve blocks and injections, RF therapy, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulators, as well as spinal pump implantations. She is a clinical tutor and lecturer at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, teaches in a Pain Trustee course for family practitioners at Rambam School for Pain Medicine and the Technion’s School for Continuing Medical Education, and is a clinical tutor of anesthesia residents during their rotation in pain medicine. She is an examiner in the pain medicine and anesthesiology board certification examinations. She is also a member of Israeli Society of Anesthesiologists, Israeli Pain Association, and European Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Therapy, and participates in national and international congresses.

Dr. Geller actively participates in a wide range of clinical and basic research projects and initiatives. Her main research and clinical interests are invasive pain management, diagnosis and treatment of CRPS, and pain pharmacotherapy.
