Dr. Michal Gur is an attending physician in the Pediatric Pulmonology Institute of the Ruth Rappaport Children's Hospital at Rambam. Dr. Gur graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine, the Hebrew University at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. She completed her pediatrics residency at Carmel Medical Center, and a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology in Schneider Children’s Medical Center. She also completed a short-term fellowship in a large cystic fibrosis center in Verona, Italy.
Dr. Gur joined Rambam after working for several years as a pediatric pulmonology referent in the Haifa District (Clalit Health Services and Carmel Medical Center).
Her activities in the Pediatric Pulmonology Institute include care of asthma, cystic fibrosis, and chronic lung disease patients, as well as performing diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopies. Dr. Gur is also an instructor in the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Dr. Gur’s main area of interest is cystic fibrosis. She is in charge of several clinical studies, including cooperation with other cystic fibrosis centers in Israel and Italy.
