Dr. Irit Chermesh graduated from Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, then completed her training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at the Rambam Healthcare Campus, where she is a Senior Physician in the Departments of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine "D".
Dr. Chermesh's main interests are in inflammatory bowel diseases and nutrition in hospitalized patients. She is in charge of the parenteral nutrition team and nutrition in patients with complex disease status. Dr. Chermesh is the Secretary of the Israeli Clinical Nutrition Association
