Department of Maxillofacial Rehabilitation & Temporo-mandibular Disorders Unit

Dr. Amin Boukhari is an Attending Physician​ and Lecturer at the Maxillofacial Rehabilitation Department and the Temporomandibular Joint Disorders Unit at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Dr. Boukhari graduated from the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Montpellier I University, Montpellier, France in 1991. He completed a specialization in Oral Implantology at the Paris VII University in 1998, and a specialization in Oral Rehabilitation at Tel-Aviv University in 2005. In 2009 he received a Masters in Dental Sciences (MDS Degree) from the Faculty of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University. Since 2015 he is certified as a specialist in oral and maxillofacial rehabilitation.

Dr. Boukhari has lectured at national and international conferences in the field of oral and maxillofacial rehabilitation. He has published articles in national and international publications on oral and maxillofacial prosthodontics.
He is currently leading research in maxillofacial prosthodontics, especially in the development of brachytherapy devices for oncology patients of the head and neck.

Dr. Boukhari is a member of the Israeli Dental Association, the Israeli Prosthodontic Association, the Israeli Facial Pain Association, and the Israeli, French, German and European Oral Implantology Associations. He is also an affiliate member of the American Dental Association, and a member of the Israeli Unit of the world organisation of dental research.
