Department of Internal Medicine C

Dr. Zalts is an Attending Physician in the Department of Internal Medicine "C" at Rambam Health Care Campus. He graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University in 1999, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine at Rambam.

Dr. Zalts is responsible for education of medical students at the Department of Internal Medicine, and received an award from the Technion Faculty of Medicine for his work in this capacity. He is also responsible for the clinical rotations of students in the Technion American Medical School (TeAMS) program.

Dr. Zalts’ main interests are in the fields of infection control in critically ill patients, and quality care in medicine.
