Dr. Zahava Gallimidi is a graduate of the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion– Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. She completed her postgraduate clinical residency in Radiology at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
She obtained further clinical training in breast imaging at Rambam Medical Center and at Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston.
Dr. Gallimidi's main research and clinical interests are new technologies in breast cancer imaging, minimally invasive breast biopsies, and computer aided detection of breast cancer in various imaging modalities, such as magnetic resonance and ultrasound .Her clinical interests also include general and vascular ultrasound.
