Dr. Alexander Katsman graduated from the School of Medicine in Kazane, USSR in 1978.
In 1986, he completed a residency at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics in Kurgan.
In 1990, he immigrated to Israel and completed a residency in Orthopedics at Poriya Government Hospital in Tiberias.
In 2000, Dr. Katsman was a Fellow at the Galeazzi Orthopedic Clinic in Milan, Italy. Since 2002, he has been working at the Pediatric Orthopedics Unit at Rambam Health Care Campus.
His main interest in orthopedics is correcting congenital and acquired limb discrepancy, bone pseudoarthrosis and defects, various deformities, foot diseases, DDH and trauma.
Dr. Katsman is a member of the Israel Orthopedic Association.
