Dr. Vacile Recea is an Attending Physician in the Department of Anesthesiology at Rambam Health Care Campus.
Dr. Recea received his medical degree from the University of Medicine "Iuliu Hatieganu", Cluj Napoca, Romania in 2003, and a Master’s Degree in Environmental and Clinical Toxicology in 2006. In 2005 he completed a residency in emergency medicine at the Clinical Hospital for Adults, Cluj Napoca. From 2005 to 2009, he served as a medical physician in Saipem 10000, a member of the ENI Corporation that manages offshore drilling ships.
In 2009, Dr. Recea began a residency in anesthesiology after receiving his Israeli medical license, and in 2013 received his Israeli Board Certification. In 2015 he received a European Diploma of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Recea’s fields of interest include anesthesia in the extreme elderly, vascular anesthesia, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and difficult airway management.
