Department of Ophthalmology

Carmela Binyaminov is Head Nurse of the Ophthalmology Department at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Binyaminov is a graduate of the Nursing School in Kiryat Bialik, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the College of Israel, and a Master’s Degree in Health Management and Management of Senior Living Homes from Haifa University. She also trained in ICU work at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Binyaminov has completed courses in management enrichment for shift responsibility, advanced nursing for diabetes patients and their families, E.C.G. and arrhythmia decoding, IV PCA and epidural techniques, resuscitation, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She is also involved in a large study being conducted at Rambam and Fliman hospitals, which included introducing nursing students from Norway to the General Surgery Department.
