Department of Internal Medicine C

Dr. Anat Stern is an Attending Physician and Specialist in both the Infectious Diseases Unit and the Department of Internal Medicine “C” at Rambam Health Care Campus.

Dr. Stern graduated with honors from the Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and completed her internship and residency with honors in internal medicine. Recently, Dr. Stern completed her sub-specialty in infectious diseases with honors at Rambam.

Dr. Stern teaches infectious diseases and internal medicine to medical students, interns and residents. She was granted an outstanding lecturer award and a special award for her contribution in teaching medicine at Rambam. Her areas of interest include epidemiology and treatment of bacterial and fungal infections in immune compromised patients such as those with hemato-oncology malignancies and following bone marrow transplantations. Dr. Stern is also involved in research in this field in the framework of the Infectious Diseases Unit.
