Dr. Roee Atlas
Prior to the current position as Rambam MedTec CEO, Dr. Atlas led a Pharma Incubator program (The NIBN) at Ben-Gurion University in the Negev. The incubator activities focused on pre-clinical development of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical drug entities, for indications such as cancer, autoimmunity, neurodegeneration, metabolism, and more. At this position Dr. Atlas gained experience in moving forward pre-clinical development programs for small molecules and biopharmaceuticals for various indications. In addition, Dr. Atlas led the Intellectual Property and business aspects of the Incubator. Prior to that Dr. Atlas served as CEO of a biotech startup company centered on pain management in dentistry application. Before that Dr. Atlas was a project manager at Omrix Biopharmaceuticals (a J&J company), in charge of pre-clinical development of tissue regeneration applications for Omrix's Fibrin technology.
Dr. Atlas studied molecular biology and completed a Ph.D. degree at Weizmann Institute in 2005, followed by a postdoc at Columbia Medical school, New York.
Ms. Ravit Alter
Ms. Ravit Alter is the assistant to the CEO at Rambam MedTech, Ltd. She is additionally responsible for promoting innovation among the staff of Rambam Health Care Campus, managing the hospital’s patent portfolio, organizing conferences and seminars, establishing contacts with contract research organizations, and more.
Ms. Alter received her B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology (2009). She brings to Rambam MedTech a wealth of experience: over five years of experience in Quality Systems Management for the food and pharmaceutical industry (Unilever), as well as in global marketing and business administration and development in the dental and digital dentistry medical device field, working with European markets, as well as markets in India, China, and Latin America.
