Rambam's 5-10 year, $300 million Vision of Adam development plan for the 21st century aims to meet our medical center's current and future requirements for functional growth. Plans call for constructing an Underground Emergency Hospital and an above-ground complex of buildings to include a Biomedical Discovery Tower, Cardiovascular Hospital, Children's Hospital, and Oncology Hospital; for conserving, expanding and fortifying relevant existing structures, with our Emergency Trauma Center a first priority; and for providing open spaces and landscaped green areas. Sixteen dunams (16,000 sq m) of land at the heart of the Rambam campus have been allocated for these purposes. All capital-building projects and major-equipment needs offer donors opportunities for naming recognition.
