Top Priority for Lifesaving Purposes
The Trauma Shock Unit is the heart of RHCC'S Emergency Trauma Center, treating injured IDF soldiers of the Northern Command and seriously wounded patients referred to Rambam from Northern Israel's 11 district hospitals. The proposal calls for construction of six stations that will enable the simultaneous treatment of all emergency patients. It also calls for purchase of the most advanced medical equipment available for saving the lives of the gravely wounded and ill. These include sophisticated medical beds, monitors, respirators, and ultrasound and other imaging devices.
