The proposed new Cardiovascular Hospital will provide an appropriate address for an expanded and modernized Cardiac Surgery Department outfitted with the most advanced equipment. The plan also calls for establishment of a Cardiac Surgery Development Program designed to enhance surgeons' clinical, teaching and research skills.
