Rambam Medical Center seeks to advance collaboration with industry in Israel and abroad. We believe that cooperation between staff members of the Rambam Medical Center and industry will lead to valuable technological products that will further medicine and improve patient treatment.

The Research & Development unit is responsible for all aspects of intellectual property and technology transfer at Rambam. Staff of Rambam who have ideas, inventions or applied research projects are invited to contact the Unit.

Support will be provided in the following areas:
• Examining (with the inventors) the novelty of the project and its potential implementation.
• Preparing material for the patent committee.
• Locating and helping to create collaboration with entities that have development ability and business experience.
• Facilitating technology transfer with governmental funding support such as Magneton and Nofar.
• Introducing entrepreneurs to the medical staff.
