At the Forefront of Pediatrics
Meyer Children's Hospital provides advanced medical services and a comprehensive approach to treatment in every area of children's healthcare. It is the only children's hospital dedicated exclusively to pediatric medicine in Northern Israel, and is located in the Rambam Healthcare Campus.
Meyer Children's Hospital was established in 1986 to treat children of all ages, from newborn infants through 16-year-old youth. It is a modern hospital, operating according to the highest medical standards, and in accordance with the vision and values of the Rambam Healthcare Center. It addresses the full set of physical and psychological needs of the child, from initial diagnostic services and basic medical treatments to the most sophisticated and complex interventions. Everything in the hospital is adjusted to the world of the child, who, beyond the need for medical care, should have a pleasant, warm and supportive environment.
Within one five-story building, Meyer Children's Hospital has 125 beds, 6 inpatient departments, a Pediatric Emergency Room, and 20 professional pediatric units; all medical services for children are provided under one roof.
The hospital team includes 60 pediatric physicians specializing in their respective fields and 150 highly experienced professional nurses, as well as paramedic and management teams, for a total staff of 300.

The Pinnacle of Research
Meyer Children's Hospital has an extensive and productive collaborative relationship with the Technion Faculty of Medicine. At the academic level, hospital physicians serve as senior lecturers to Technion medical students. And Meyer Hospital physicians are conducting research projects at the cutting edge of pediatric medicine. They also maintain professional collaborations with other children's medical centers around the world, and remain abreast of the latest developments in pediatric medicine, science, technology and treatment approaches.
